Creador likely has the largest collection of bulk mezcal resting in glass outside of Mexico. That is right here in Austin TX. Bastrop to be precise.
Creador is imported in 50-liter containers from mezcalero José Alberto Pablo in Oaxaca. The mezcal is bottled in Bastrop and then delivered to you. And, after consulting with José Alberto, I've been placing some of that destilado in glass to rest at the distillery in Bastrop.
Now, after José Alberto's mezcal has rested in Texas for over two years (and in most cases, produced long before that), I'm ready to share some of those spirits with you.
